This wine is rich and inviting with a firm structure and a lingering finish. Alluring notes of butterscotch, caramel, and lemon rind fill the bouquet. A youthful and energetic wine to please all palates.  

Aromas of rich green tea, clove, and allspice are shown in the nose. The palate is firm but balanced with flavors of sandalwood, cedar, and redwood forest. The wine is rich with silky yet firm tannins coupled with hints of smoked meats. This opens up in the glass and keeps giving and giving. 

A walk through a dense redwood forest, full of wild blackberry brambles, dappled sunlight and the occasional moss and mushroom covered stump. These are the images that come to mind when first tasting the 2017 Trione Pinot Noir. The mouthfeel is rich and silky with a long finish.  

Elegant yet dense and complex, allspice and hints of clove. This wine is silky but best described as finely detailed. The first impression is shy but then the palate opens to a medley of black currant, tobacco and vanilla bean.  The finish is superbly balanced with polished silky tannins and background hints of dusty cinnamon and spice.

The Trione 2016 Block 21 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, dark and foreboding. The wine is rich with black currant and dark chocolate aromas and flavors. Inhale, close your eyes and envision an old saddle, favorite wallet or baseball glove, those rustic leather notes are prominent. The structure is tight but has length and verbosity.

This wine is classic in style; rich and vibrant with hints of black currant, raspberry, and blackberry notes on the nose. It’s silky on the palate, with a fine tannin structure and robust mid-palate which finishes long and smooth.
